The service

CSVLocal is a free, browser-based tool for viewing, cleaning and converting delimited data files and Excel workbooks. All processing happens in your browser; the service is the delivery of the tool’s code to your device.

Your files

Your files are yours. They are processed on your device and never transmitted to us, so we acquire no rights to — and no copies of — anything you open. You are responsible for having the right to work with the files you process.

No warranty

The tool is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We work hard on correctness (the parsing and export engines are extensively tested), but data comes in infinite varieties: verify important results before relying on them, and keep your originals. CSVLocal is a tool, not professional advice, and we are not liable for losses arising from its use.

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to disrupt the site or use it in violation of applicable law. That’s it — there are no accounts to suspend and no usage quotas to police.

Changes

Features may change as the tool improves. Material changes to these terms or the privacy policy will be reflected on their “last updated” dates.
